The present invention relates to a guide device for opening the width of fabric, which spreads fabric to be tight when opening circular fabric woven in a circular knitting machine flatwise through a width opener. More specifically, the guide device for opening the width of fabric is able to produce the fabric having good quality and reduce the loss or defect of fabric by spreading the fabric without wrinkles, twist, or unevenness and enabling detailed width-opening work. The present invention spreads fabric by being positioned inside the fabric woven in a circular shape by a circular knitting machine between the circular knitting machine and the width opener. The guide device for opening the width of fabric includes: a first guide unit which has both sides formed in a round square shape and primarily spreads fabric so that both sides of the fabric have the cross section of a round square shape; a second guide unit which comprises a one-side guide member installed to be tilted toward the lower outside at one side of the first guide unit and a one-side guide member installed to be tilted toward the lower outside at the other side of the first guide unit, and secondarily spreads the primarily spread fabric so that the width of a back and forth direction of the fabric gradually decreases and the width of a left and right direction of the fabric gradually increases; and a fixed unit which is connected to the first guide unit and is installed to be fixated on the rotational shaft in the lower part of the circular knitting machine. 본 발명은 환편기로 제직한 원형의 원단을 개폭기를 통해 평면으로 개폭할 때 원단을 팽팽하게 펼쳐주는 원단 개폭용 가이드장치에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 원단에 주름이나 틀어짐이 일어나지 않고 위곡도 생기지 않도록 펼쳐줌으로써 개폭 작업을 세밀하게 할 수 있도록 하여 양품의 원단을 생산할 수 있고 원단의 손실이나 불량도 줄일 수 있는 원단 개폭용 가이드장치에 관한 것이다. 이러한 본 발명은 환편기와 개폭기의 사이에서 환편기에 의해 원형으로 제직된 원단 내부에 위치되어 원단을 펼쳐주는 것으로, 양측이 둥근 사각형상으로 형성되어 원단을 양측이 둥근 사각형상의 단면을 갖도록 1차로 펼쳐주는 제1가이드부; 상기 제1가이드부의 일측에 하방 외측으로 경사지게 설치되는 일측가이드부재와, 상기 제1가이드부의 타측에 하방 외측으로 경사지게 설치되는 일측가이드부재로 구성되어 1차로 펼쳐진 원단을 전후폭이 점진적으로 감소되고 좌우폭이 점진적으로 증가되게 2차로 펼쳐주는 제2가이드부; 및 상기 제1가이드부에 연결되고 상기 환편기 하부의 회전축에 고정 설치되는 고정부;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 원단 개폭용 가이드장치를 기술적 요지로 한다.
