The present invention relates to a street light system having a function of fine dust notification using a beacon and a method thereof. The street light system of the present invention includes: a first street light device having a fine dust sensor among a plurality of street light devices; at least one second street light device capable of performing wireless communication with the first street light device; and a street light management server. Each of the first and second street light devices includes a light emitting diode lighting unit that emits various colors according to the state of fine dust generation. The first street light device transmits the fine dust concentration measured from the fine dust sensor to the street light management server through the communication network. The street light management server transmits a control signal to the first street light device so that the first and second street light devices emit different colors in response to the measured fine dust concentration of the first street light device to notify the occurrence of the fine dust. The first street light device transmits a control signal to the second street light device using a beacon. According to the present invention, the first and second street light devices can notify passengers around the street light device of the occurrence of fine dust by using various colors, so that the passengers may take appropriate and quick actions. 본 발명은 비콘을 이용한 미세먼지 알림 기능을 갖는 가로등 시스템 및 그 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 가로등 시스템은 복수 개의 가로등 장치들 중 미세먼지 센서를 구비하는 제1 가로등 장치와, 제1 가로등 장치와 무선 통신 가능한 적어도 하나의 제2 가로등 장치 및 가로등 관리 서버를 포함한다. 제1 및 제2 가로등 장치들 각각은 미세먼지 발생 상황에 따라 다양한 색상을 발광하는 발광 다이오드 점등부를 구비한다. 제1 가로등 장치는 가로등 관리 서버로 통신망을 통해 미세먼지 센서로부터 측정된 미세먼지 농도를 전송하고, 가로등 관리 서버는 제1 가로등 장치의 측정된 미세먼지 농도에 대응하여 제1 및 제2 가로등 장치가 서로 다른 색상을 발광하여 미세먼지 발생 상황을 알려주도록 제어 신호를 제1 가로등 장치로 전송한다. 제1 가로등 장치는 비콘을 이용하여 제2 가로등 장치로 제어 신호를 전달한다. 본 밞명에 의하면, 제1 및 제2 가로등 장치가 다양한 색상으로 가로등 장치의 주변 행인들에게 미세먼지 발생 상황을 알려줌으로써, 행인들의 적절하고 신속한 조치가 가능하다.
