Summary:The present invention relates to a novel white clover mottle virus gene comprising nucleotide sequences of SEQ ID NO: 1, a recombinant vector comprising the white clover mottle virus gene, a host cell transformed by the recombinant vector, a composition for diagnosis of the white clover mottle virus and a diagnostic method. Since the use of the white clover mottle virus gene of the present invention enables the diagnosis of infection with white clover mottle virus, the novel white clover mottle virus gene can be used for the prediction of disease outbreak by applying the gene to the monitoring or the investigation of the occurrence of viral diseases in domestic crops or weeds. Especially, the reality of the disease occurring in host plants including the white clover can be clarified, and the gene can contribute to the dissemination and quality improvement of the disease-free host plants including the white clover. 본 발명은 서열번호 1의 염기서열로 이루어진 흰 토끼풀 모틀 바이러스(White clover mottle virus) 유전자, 상기 흰 토끼풀 모틀 바이러스유전자를 포함하는 재조합 벡터 및 상기 재조합 벡터로 형질전환된 숙주세포, 흰 토끼풀 모틀 바이러스 진단용 조성물 및 진단방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 흰 토끼풀 모틀 바이러스 유전자를 이용하면 흰 토끼풀 모틀 바이러스 감염여부의 진단이 가능하기 때문에 국내 농작물 또는 잡초에 발생하는 바이러스 병 발생 양상 모니터링 또는 조사에 투입하여 병 발생 예측에 활용할 수 있다. 특히 흰 토끼풀을 포함하는 숙주 식물체에 발생하는 병해에 대한 실체를 밝히고, 흰 토끼풀을 포함하는 숙주 식물 무병주 보급 및 품질 향상에 기여할 수 있다.
