The present invention provides a resin-metal composite post for a fence with an excellent construction structure and a fence using the same, wherein the post for a fence comprises: composite resin (22); a metal profile (24) embedded in the composite resin (22); and a plurality of support tips (26) provided in the profile (24). Moreover, the support tips (26) protrude to the inside of the profile (24), and an insertion coupling protrusion (32) of a connector (30) coupled to a transverse material (40) is inserted into the support tips (26).
