The present invention relates to a method for preparing a feed additive for removing odors using Hermetia illucens, and feed additive for removing odors using Hermetia illucens produced by the method. The method comprises the following steps: a first step of preparing food for Hermetia illucens; a second step of feeding Hermetia illucens with the food; and a third step of drying and pulverizing Hermetia illucens that has been fed with the food. It is possible to remarkably reduce an odor of animal manure, and reduce a meat odor, thereby improving meat quality. 본 발명은 동애등에를 이용한 악취제거용 사료첨가제의 제조방법 및 이에 의해 제조된 동애등에를 이용한 악취제거용 사료첨가제에 관한 것으로, 동애등에 먹이를 제조하는 단계(단계 1); 동애등에에게 상기 동애등에 먹이를 급여하는 단계(단계 2); 및 상기 동애등에 먹이를 섭취하여 사육된 동애등애를 건조한 후 분쇄하는 단계(단계 3); 를 포함하는 것을 기술적 특징으로 하며, 동물의 분뇨의 악취를 현저히 저감시킬 수 있고, 동물의 고기의 냄새를 적게 하여 육질을 개선할 수 있는 장점이 있다.
