Summary:Disclosed are a server apparatus and a method for analyzing an image to detect an object which can minimize misdetection of an object in a fixed camera environment like a CCTV. According to an aspect of the present invention, the server apparatus for analyzing an image comprises: an object detecting unit learning to detect and recognize an object from an input image; and a re-learning unit determining whether the object detecting unit needs re-learning based on whether a motion is detected in the input image and an error of a detection result output from the object detecting unit, and enabling the object detecting unit to re-learn. 객체 검출을 위한 영상분석 서버장치 및 방법을 개시한다. 본 발명의 일 측면에 따르면, 입력영상으로부터 객체를 검출하여 인식하도록 학습된 객체 탐지부; 및 상기 입력영상 내의 움직임 검출 여부 및 상기 객체 탐지부로부터 출력된 탐지결과의 오차에 근거하여 상기 객체 탐지부의 재학습이 필요한지 여부를 판단하고, 재학습이 필요한 경우 상기 입력영상으로부터 객체가 검출되지 않도록 상기 객체 탐지부를 재학습시키는 재학습부를 포함하는 영상분석 서버장치를 제공한다.
