Summary:According to the present invention, an electrode assembly comprises: at least one unit cell having a pair of electrode plates composed of a first electrode plate and a second electrode plate having different polarities with a separator interposed therebetween; an electrode material mixture applied on one or both surfaces of the pair of electrode plates; and an electrode tab protruding from the electrode plates respectively while the electrode material mixture has not been applied yet. The electrode tab includes a tab for connecting a tab for electrode parallel connection and a tab for electrode lead connection, and at least one of the tab for electrode parallel connection and the tab for electrode lead connection is formed on the electrode plate. In order to physically cut out a first electrode plate, including the tab for electrode lead connection among the electrode plates, earlier than a second electrode plate upon bending and twisting, the collector in the first electrode plate is made of a material different from that of the collector in the second electrode plate with different polarity. 본 발명에 따른 전극 조립체는 분리막을 사이에 두고 상이한 극성을 갖는 제 1 전극판과 제 2 전극판으로 이루어진 한 쌍의 전극판을 갖는 하나 이상의 단위셀; 상기 한 쌍의 전극판의 단면 또는 양면 상에 도포되는 전극 합제; 및 상기 전극판들로부터 각각 돌출되는 동시에 상기 전극 합제가 미도포된 상태의 전극 탭;을 포함하고, 상기 전극 탭은 전극 병렬 연결용 탭과 전극 리드 연결용 탭을 포함하고, 상기 전극판은 상기 전극 병렬 연결용 탭과 전극 리드 연결용 탭 중 어느 하나 이상의 전극 탭이 형성되며, 상기 전극판 중 전극 리드 연결용 탭을 포함하는 제 1 전극판이 굽힘 및 비틀림 동작 시 제 2 전극판보다 물리적으로 먼저 절단되기 위하여, 상기 제 1 전극판의 집전체는, 상이한 극성의 제 2 전극판의 집전체와 재질이 다르다.
