The present invention relates to a composition for killing or inhibiting the growth of brain cancer stem cells and a composition for preventing, alleviating, treating, or inhibiting metastasis of brain cancer comprising mixed extracts of saururus chinensis, Scutellaria baicalensis, prunella vulgaris, lithospermi radix, natsudaidai peel, and portulaca oleracea as active ingredients. According to the present invention, the mixed extracts of saururus chinensis, Scutellaria baicalensis, prunella vulgaris, lithospermi radix, natsudaidai peel, and portulaca oleracea have an effect of inhibiting growth of brain cancer stem cells and, specifically, adjusts a G0 section associated with cell death in a cell cycle to promote the death of brain cancer stem cells to be variously used as a brain cancer metastasis inhibitor, a medicine, and health functional food. Moreover, the mixed extracts of saururus chinensis, Scutellaria baicalensis, prunella vulgaris, lithospermi radix, natsudaidai peel, and portulaca oleracea can be used with existing anticancer drugs and cancer treatment methods to have excellent effects of prevention, treatment, and inhibition of metastasis of brain cancer to be used as a brain cancer treatment supplemental agent. 본 발명은 삼백초, 황금, 하고초, 자근, 청피 및 쇠비름 혼합 추출물을 유효성분으로 포함하는, 뇌종양 줄기세포 성장 억제 또는 사멸용 조성물 및 뇌종양 예방, 개선, 치료 또는 전이 억제용 조성물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 삼백초, 황금, 하고초, 자근, 청피 및 쇠비름 혼합 추출물은 뇌종양 줄기세포의 성장 억제 효과를 가지며, 특히 세포 주기상 세포 사멸과 관계된 G0 구간을 조절하여 뇌종양 줄기세포의 사멸을 촉진하는 우수한 효과를 가지는 바 뇌종양 전이 억제제, 치료제, 건강기능식품 등으로 다양하게 활용될 수 있다. 더욱이 본 발명의 삼백초, 황금, 하고초, 자근, 청피 및 쇠비름 혼합 추출물은 기존의 항암제 및 암치료 방법과 함께 사용되어 우수한 뇌종양 예방, 치료 및 전이 억제 효과를 가지는 바 뇌종양 치료보조제로도 활용될 수 있다.
