The present invention relates to a substrate processing apparatus and a method for processing a substrate using the same. The method comprises the steps of introducing a substrate into a chamber; heating and processing the substrate using a heat source unit provided in the chamber; and repeatedly moving at least one of the substrate and the heat source unit in a direction in which the substrate extends. Therefore, the temperature of the substrate can be uniformly controlled while processing the substrate, thereby improving heat treatment efficiency of the substrate. 본 발명은 기판 처리 장치 및 이를 이용한 기판 처리 방법에 관한 것으로, 챔버 내부에 기판을 인입하는 과정; 상기 챔버에 구비되는 열원 유닛을 이용하여 상기 기판을 가열하면서 처리하는 과정; 및 상기 기판과 상기 열원 유닛 중 적어도 어느 하나를 상기 기판이 연장되는 방향으로 왕복 이동시키는 과정;을 포함하여, 기판을 처리하는 동안 기판의 온도를 균일하게 조절하고, 이를 통해 기판의 열처리 효율을 향상시킬 수 있다.
