The present invention relates to a mat for storing pet excrement. A natural vegetation material (31) is stacked in a rectangular container body (40) while herbaceous plants (20) are planted densely on the vegetation material (31). The pet excrement can be hidden between the herbaceous plants (20) while the moisture in the excrement substance is absorbed to the roots of the herbaceous plants (20) and to the vegetation material (31). Multiple container bodies (40) are combined while being interconnected through the side surfaces, thereby freely adjusting the area of the excrement mat (10). The mat densely planted with the herbaceous plants (20) such as grass is utilized for the indoor treatment of pet excrement. The pet excrement can be effectively sealed to realize a pleasant exterior while suppressing odor through discharging the odor from the herbaceous plants (20) and quickly absorbing the moisture from the excrement. Multiple unit excrement mats (10) are combined to let the user adjust the size of the excrement mats (10) in accordance with the type and growth of the pets, thereby significantly enhancing user convenience. 본 발명은 반려동물의 배설물을 받는 매트에 관한 것으로, 장방형 함체(40) 내부에는 천연 소재 식생재(31)가 적재되고 식생재(31)에는 초본식물(草本植物)(20)이 조밀하게 식재되어, 반려동물의 배설물이 초본식물(20) 사이로 은폐됨과 동시에 배설물내 수분이 초본식물(20)의 뿌리 및 식생재(31)에 흡수되되, 다수의 함체(40)가 측면이 상호 결속되는 방식으로 조합됨으로써, 배변매트(10)의 평면적을 자유롭게 조절할 수 있도록 한 것이다. 본 발명을 통하여, 잔디 등 초본식물(20)이 조밀하게 식재된 매트를 반려동물의 실내 배변 처리에 활용함으로써, 반려동물의 배설물을 효과적으로 은폐하여 미관을 확보함과 동시에 배설물내 수분의 신속한 흡수 및 초본식물(20)의 방취 효과를 통하여 악취 발생을 억제할 수 있으며, 다수의 단위 배변매트(10)를 조합하는 방식으로, 반려동물의 종류나 성장 상태에 따라 사용자가 자유롭게 배변매트(10)의 크기를 조절할 수 있어 사용자 편의를 획기적으로 향상시킬 수 있다.
