According to an embodiment of the present invention, a cloud-assisted conditional privacy preserving authentication method comprises: a vehicle registration step of receiving a certificate signing request message including a vehicle ID and a public key of a vehicle from a vehicle and providing a signed certificate to the vehicle after signing a certificate generated based on the received information with a private key of a certificate authority; a false name issuing step of generating the false name of the vehicle and providing the false name to the vehicle when a false name request message is received from the vehicle; a local certificate issuing step of issuing a local certificate on a corresponding area of the vehicle and proving the local certificate to the vehicle when the local certificate is requested from the vehicle; and a message broadcasting step of broadcasting a beacon message including the false name from the vehicle. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 클라우드 지원 조건부 프라이버시 보호 인증 방법은 차량 ID와 차량의 공개 키를 포함하는 인증서 서명 요청 메시지를 차량으로부터 수신하고, 상기 수신된 정보에 기초하여 생성된 인증서를 인증 기관의 개인 키로 서명한 후 상기 서명된 인증서를 상기 차량으로 제공하는 차량 등록 단계; 상기 차량으로부터 가명 요청 메시지가 수신되면 상기 차량에 대한 가명을 생성하여 상기 차량으로 제공하는 가명 발급 단계; 상기 차량으로부터 지역 인증서가 요청되면 상기 차량의 해당 지역에 대한 지역 자격 증명을 발급하여 상기 차량으로 제공하는 지역 자격 증명 발급 단계; 및 상기 차량에서 상기 가명을 포함하는 비콘 메시지를 브로드캐스팅하는 메시지 브로드캐스팅 단계를 포함한다.
