Summary:The present invention provides a method for reducing waste sludge using acid decomposition, which comprises the following steps: a first step for preparing waste sludge containing waste sludge, which contains pulp sludge, paper sludge or a mixture thereof as a waste product discharged during the production of pulp or paper; a second step for adding acid to the waste sludge to produce and stir a mixed solution; and a third step for separating an effluent from the mixed solution. Therefore, alkaline pulp sludge and paper sludge, which are environmental wastes generated in the production of pulp or paper, can be reduced by 80% or more, thereby greatly increasing the waste sludge treatment efficiency. 본 발명은 펄프 또는 제지 생산 중에 배출되는 폐산물로써, 펄프슬러지, 제지슬러지 또는 이들의 혼합물을 함유하는 폐슬러지를 준비하는 단계(제1단계); 상기 폐슬러지에 산을 첨가하여 혼합용액을 생성하고 교반하는 단계(제2단계); 및 상기 혼합용액에서 용출액을 분리하는 단계(제3단계)를 포함하는 산분해를 통한 폐슬러지 감량화방법을 제공한다. 따라서 펄프 또는 제지 생산 공정에서 발생하는 환경위해적 폐기물인 알칼린계 펄프슬러지 및 제지슬러지를 80% 이상 감량화할 수 있으므로 폐슬러지 처리 효율을 크게 증가시킬 수 있다.
