Summary:According to an embodiment of the present invention, a crash box for a vehicle is configured to connect a back beam and a side member arranged in the width direction of the vehicle and to absorb impact energy in case of collision, wherein the crash box includes: a connection body comprising a front engagement portion, a pair of side connection portions, and a rear engagement portion, wherein the front engagement portion is engaged with the back beam, the pair of side connection portions are bent to face each other at the front engagement portion, and the rear engagement portion is bent and extended at an end of each of the side connection portions and engaged with the side member; and a pair of connection plates, respectively, engaged with a plane and a bottom surface of the connection body. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른, 차량용 크래쉬 박스는 차량의 폭 방향으로 배치된 백빔과 사이드 멤버를 매개하고, 충돌시 충격 에너지를 흡수하도록 마련된 크래쉬 박스에 있어서, 상기 백빔에 결합되는 전방 결합부와 상기 전방 결합부에서 서로 대향하게 절곡되는 한 쌍의 측면 연결부 및 각각의 상기 측면 연결부의 단부에서 절곡 연장되어 상기 사이드 멤버에 결합되는 후방 결합부로 이루어진 연결바디; 및 상기 연결바디의 평면 및 저면에 각각 결합되는 한 쌍의 연결 플레이트;를 포함한다.
