The present invention relates to a composition for preventing or treating foot-and-mouth disease and a feed composition for alleviating foot-and-mouth disease. The composition of the present invention effectively inhibits proliferation and activity of virus by being bound to enzymes associated with proliferation of foot-and-mouth disease virus with high affinity and can treat foot-and-mouth disease without having to distinguish what type of virus patients are infected from the beginning of disease, thereby being usefully used as an antiviral composition for alleviating symptoms of infected animals and preventing the spread of virus. 본 발명은 구제역바이러스 감염 질환의 예방 또는 치료용 조성물 및 이들 질환의 개선 또는 완화용 사료 조성물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 조성물은 구제역바이러스의 증식에 관련되는 효소에 높은 친화력으로 결합하여 바이러스의 증식 및 활성을 효율적으로 억제함으로써 질환 초기부터 어떠한 유형의 바이러스에 감염되었는지 구분하지 않고도 치료할 수 있어 감염 동물의 증상을 완화시키고 바이러스의 전파를 막는 항-바이러스 조성물로 유용하게 이용될 수 있다.
