Since an SNP marker for determining a stearic acid content of pork is used to objectively evaluate the stearic acid content of pork, which is not able to be distinguished visually, the present invention is able to be widely used for determining the quality of pork. 본 발명은 돈육내 스테아릭산의 함량과 관련된 SNP를 검출 또는 증폭할 수 있는 제제를 포함하는 돈육내 스테아릭산 함량 판단용 조성물, 상기 조성물을 포함하는 돈육내 스테아릭산 함량 판단용 키트, 돈육내 스테아릭산 함량을 판단하는 방법, 돈육내 스테아릭산 함량이 증가된 돼지의 제조방법, 돈육내 스테아릭산 함량을 증가시키는 방법, 돈육내 스테아릭산 함량 판단용 마커 조성물 및 마이크로어레이에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 돈육내 스테아릭산의 함량을 판단할 수 있는 SNP 마커는 육안으로 구별되지 않는 돈육내 스테아릭산의 함량을 객관적으로 평가할 수 있는 수단으로 사용되므로, 돼지의 품질을 판단에 널리 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
