Provided are a system and a method for detecting damage to a target object. The system for detecting damage to a target object according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a pattern generating portion for randomly determining a scanning line to generate a random scanning pattern; a scanning portion for scanning a target object according to the random scanning pattern to obtain scanning data; a recovery portion for recovering the scanning data to obtain image data of the target object; and an image processing portion for visualizing damage to the target object based on the image data, thereby capable of more quickly and precisely detecting damage to the target object by measuring a smaller amount of data compared to that of a prior art. 대상체의 손상 검출 시스템 및 방법이 제공된다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 대상체의 손상 검출 시스템은, 스캐닝 라인(scanning line)을 랜덤하게 결정하여 랜덤 스캐닝 패턴을 생성하는 패턴 생성부; 상기 랜덤 스캐닝 패턴에 따라 대상체를 스캐닝하여 스캐닝 데이터를 획득하는 스캐닝부; 상기 스캐닝 데이터를 복원하여 상기 대상체의 영상 데이터를 획득하는 복원부; 및 상기 영상 데이터를 기반으로 상기 대상체의 손상을 가시화하는 영상 처리부를 포함한다.
