Summary: | Provided are a system and a method for detecting damage to a target object. The system for detecting damage to a target object according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a pattern generating portion for randomly determining a scanning line to generate a random scanning pattern; a scanning portion for scanning a target object according to the random scanning pattern to obtain scanning data; a recovery portion for recovering the scanning data to obtain image data of the target object; and an image processing portion for visualizing damage to the target object based on the image data, thereby capable of more quickly and precisely detecting damage to the target object by measuring a smaller amount of data compared to that of a prior art.
