According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method for aligning an FPC of a panel to correspond to a connection unit of a pattern applying device comprises: a panel providing step of providing a panel to be inspected on one side of the pattern applying device; an FPC location information collection step of collecting location information of an FPC reference connection terminal located on one end portion of connection terminals provided in the FPC from image information of the FPC connected to the panel; a connection unit location information collection step of collecting location information of a connection unit reference connection terminal located on one end portion corresponding to the FPC reference connection terminal among connection terminals provided in the connection unit from image information of the connection unit of the pattern applying device connected to the FPC; an alignment error calculation step of calculating an alignment error of the connection terminals of the FPC and the connection terminals of the connection unit by using the location information of the FPC reference connection terminal and the location information of the connection unit reference connection terminal; and an alignment step of aligning the connection terminals of FPC to be located at positions corresponding to the connection terminals of the connection unit by moving the FPC in accordance with the alignment error. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 의한 패널의 FPC가 패턴인가장치의 접속부에 대응하도록 정렬하는 방법은, 패턴인가장치의 일측에 검사대상 패널을 제공하는 패널 제공단계; 상기 패널에 연결된 FPC의 영상정보로부터 상기 FPC에 구비된 접속단자들 중 일측 끝단부에 위치한 FPC 기준접속단자의 위치정보를 수집하는 FPC 위치정보 수집단계; 상기 FPC와 접속되는 상기 패턴인가장치의 접속부의 영상정보로부터 상기 접속부에 구비된 접속단자들 중 상기 FPC 기준접속단자와 대응하는 일측 끝단부에 위치한 접속부 기준접속단자의 위치정보를 수집하는 접속부 위치정보 수집단계; 상기 FPC 기준접속단자의 위치정보 및 상기 접속부 기준접속단자의 위치정보를 이용하여 상기 FPC의 접속단자들과 상기 접속부의 접속단자들의 정렬오차를 산출하는 정렬오차 산출단계; 및 상기 정렬오차에 따라 상기 FPC를 이동하여 상기 접속부의 접속단자들과 대응하는 위치에 상기 FPC의 접속단자들이 각각 위치하도록 정렬하는 정렬단계를 포함한다.
