Disclosed is a testing device for complementary color visual stress. The testing device includes: a selecting unit (110) which selects complementary colors to be used as background colors for black letters; an output unit (120) which selects two background colors complementing each other and outputs complementary color samples by alternately outputting the background colors; a selected unit (130) which receives a selected clear complementary sample among the complementary samples; and an applying unit (140) which applies the finally selected color, included in a clear additional sample, to the background color. In addition, the output unit (120) generates additional samples by grouping two colors each among colors included in the clear complementary sample and outputs the two colors alternately. The selected unit (130) receives the selected clear additional sample among the additional samples.
