A ladder according to the present invention includes: a pair of upper plates disposed in parallel with each other in a state in which front surfaces thereof are in close contact with each other, and having a gap therebetween being adjusted in such a manner that the other direction horizontally rotates with respect to a vertical rotation center in one direction; a pair of support members having a plurality of footsteps arranged vertically, and an upper end connected to lower portions of the upper plates to be rotatable so as to adjust the gap therebetween; and a link member coupled to the lower portions of the upper plates at longitudinal opposite ends, and bringing the front surfaces of the upper plates in close contact with each other through a folding operation of a partial section or limiting a separation distance such that the upper plates are not beyond a maximum rotation angle. Accordingly, the present invention is able to secure safety when in use, or convenience of storage when not in use. 본 발명의 사다리는, 전면이 상호 밀착된 상태로 나란하게 배치되며, 일측 방향의 수직 회전중심을 기준으로 타측 방향이 수평 회전되어 상호 간의 간격이 조절되는 한 쌍의 상판과, 다수의 발판이 상하 길이방향을 따라 배열되며, 상단이 상기 상판들의 하부에 전후로 회전 가능하게 각각 결합되어 상호 간의 간격이 조절되는 한 쌍의 지지대 및, 길이방향 양단이 상기 상판들의 하부에 회동 가능하게 결합되며, 일부 구간의 절첩 동작을 통해 상기 상판들의 전면을 상호 밀착되도록 하거나, 상기 상판들이 최대 회전각을 벗어나지 않도록 이격 거리를 제한하는 링크부재를 포함한다.
