According to an embodiment of the present invention, provided are a crack detecting apparatus and a crack detecting method. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the crack detecting apparatus comprises: an ultrasonic wave sensor focused on a bottom surface of an object to be inspected, irradiating a first ultrasonic wave in a vertical direction on the bottom surface of the object to be inspected, and receiving a reflected wave reflected on the bottom surface of the object to be inspected; and a monitoring unit providing information with respect to a crack based on intensity of the reflected wave. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따르면, 균열 측정 장치 및 균열 측정 방법이 제공된다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 균열 측정 장치는 검사 대상체의 저면에 집속되며, 검사 대상체의 저면에 수직 방향으로 제1 초음파를 조사하고, 검사 대상체의 저면에서 반사된 반사파를 수신하는 초음파 센서, 및 상기 반사파의 세기에 기초하여 균열에 대한 정보를 제공하는 모니터링부를 포함한다.
