The present invention relates to a system and a method for controlling product order and reception. A purchased product is not directly contained in a cart or a basket in a product selling store (a department store, a mart, a convenience store, or the like), but a purchased product is conveniently ordered by using an ordering terminal. Various ordering terminals and POS terminals can be interconnected without changing a point of scale (POS) terminal installed in a conventional product selling store. The system comprises: an ordering terminal for reading product information attached to a display stand or a product in a store, and generating an order on the basis of the read product information; a relay hub for converting data of ordering information generated in the ordering terminal in accordance with the form of a POS terminal installed in the store; a POS terminal for receiving the ordering information generated from the ordering terminal by being interconnected with the relay hub to generate an ordering list, and generating payment information; and a product purchasing means for receiving the ordering list and the payment information by being interconnected with the POS terminal, changing a list with respect to the received ordering list by being interconnected with the ordering terminal, and transmitting payment information to the POS terminal and the ordering terminal after payment. 상품 판매처(백화점, 마트, 편의점, 기타)에서 카트나 바구니에 직접 구매 상품을 담지 않고 편리하게 주문 단말기를 이용하여 구매 상품을 주문하고, 기존 상품 판매처에 설치된 POS(Point of Sale) 단말기의 변경 없이 다양한 주문 단말기와 POS 단말기를 연동할 수 있도록 한 상품 주문 및 수령 제어시스템 및 그 방법에 관한 것으로서, 매장의 진열대 또는 상품에 부착된 상품 정보를 판독하고, 판독한 상품 정보를 기반으로 주문을 발생하는 주문 단말기; 상기 주문 단말기에서 발생한 주문 정보를 매장에 설치된 POS 단말기의 형식에 맞게 데이터 변환하는 중계 허브; 상기 중계 허브와 연동하여 상기 주문 단말기로부터 발생한 주문 정보를 수신하여 주문 목록을 생성하고, 결제 정보를 생성하는 POS 단말기; 및 상기 POS 단말기와 연동하여 주문 목록 및 결제 정보를 수신하고, 상기 주문 단말기와 연동하여 수신한 주문 목록에 대한 목록을 변경하며, 결제 후 결제 정보를 상기 POS 단말기 및 주문 단말기에 전송해주는 상품판매수단을 포함하여, 상품 주문 및 수령 제어시스템을 구현한다.
