Summary:The present invention relates to a regenerative braking control method of a vehicle, which is capable of stopping or decelerating a hybrid vehicle or electrical vehicle with consideration for regenerative braking energy and brake feeling when decelerating or stopping the vehicle using regenerative power generation of an electrical motor without the Regen Brake System, and preventing a vehicle accident by automatically performing quick braking of the vehicle through control over a driving motor when there is a risk of an accident. The method, which is the regenerative braking control method of a vehicle capable of preventing a vehicle accident by automatically performing quick braking of the vehicle through control of a driving motor if there is a risk of an accident, comprises the steps of: measuring, by a regenerative braking control unit, the distance to a forward object using a distance measuring unit when the acceleration pedal value is zero while the vehicle is moving; determining that the vehicle is in a regenerative braking time if the measured distance to the forward object is within a predetermined distance, and detecting a vehicle speed; and calculating a regenerative braking control value based on the detected vehicle speed and the distance to the forward object, and controlling regenerative braking based on the calculated regenerative braking control value. Thus, the method facilitates optimal control of regenerative braking without the Regen Brake System. 하이브리드 자동차 또는 전기 자동차에서 Regen Brake System 없이 전기 모터의 회생발전을 이용하여 차량을 감속 또는 정지할 때 회생제동 에너지와 브레이크 필링(Brake feeling)을 고려하여 차량을 정지 또는 감소시키고, 사고 발생 우려 발생 시 구동모터 제어를 통해 차량을 자동으로 급제동하여 차량 사고를 방지할 수 있도록 한 자동차의 회생제동 제어방법에 관한 것으로서, 회생제동 제어부에서 차량 주행 중 가속 페달 값이 제로이면, 거리 측정부를 이용하여 전방 물체와의 거리를 측정하는 단계; 측정한 전방 물체와의 거리가 회생제동을 위해 기 설정된 거리 이내이면 회생 제동 시점으로 판단하고, 차속을 검출하는 단계; 상기 검출한 차속과 전방 물체와의 거리를 기초로 회생제동 제어 값을 산출하고, 산출한 회생제동 제어 값을 기초로 회생제동을 제어하는 단계를 포함하여, Regen Brake System 없이도 자동차의 회생제동을 최적으로 제어한다.
