Summary:According to an embodiment of the present invention, a system for measuring a defect width of a pipe using a multi-channel RFECT comprises: a sensing unit to sense a change in a magnetic field by a change in an eddy current in a pipe in a remote field of the magnetic field by a plurality of coil sensors, and calculate an amplitude value of an AC component from a sensing signal induced by the change in the magnetic field; and a control station to determine an occurrence of a defect in the pipe if the amplitude value is changed, detect an effective coil sensor having an amplitude value exceeding a prescribed threshold, and use information of an overlapping area between the effective coil sensor and the defect in the pipe and a non-overlapping area to calculate a width of the defect. The width of the defect can be accurately calculated. Consequently, reliability of a test result can be secured. 본 발명의 일실시예에 따른 다채널 RFECT를 이용한 배관의 결함 폭 측정방법은 복수의 코일센서를 통해, 자기장의 원격필드에서 배관 내부의 와전류 변화에 따른 자기장의 변화를 센싱하며, 자기장의 변화에 따라 유도된 센싱신호로부터 직류성분의 진폭값을 연산하는 센싱부 및 상기 진폭값이 변경된 경우, 배관에 결함이 생긴 것으로 판단하며, 기설정된 임계값을 초과하는 진폭값을 가지는 유효 코일센서를 검출하고, 유효 코일센서와 배관에 발생한 결함 간의 중첩영역과 중첩되지 않은 영역의 정보를 이용하여, 상기 결함의 폭을 산출하는 컨트롤 스테이션를 포함함으로써 결함의 폭을 정확히 산출할 수 있으며, 그 결과 검사 결과의 신뢰성을 확보할 수 있다.
