The present invention relates to a cutting insert capable of minimizing a phenomenon of enabling the cutting insert to be lifted from a sheet side of a cutting tool during a cutting process; and increasing an area in which the cutting insert and the cutting tool are connected. To this end, the cutting insert of the present invention comprises: a main surface; a connection side which is opposite to the main surface, and is positioned on the sheet side of the cutting tool; and a screw penetration hole which penetrates each center unit of the main surface and the connection side to be connected to the cutting tool, and passes a screw. The cutting insert includes first and second long grooves which are across from the connection side. Each of the first and second long grooves includes a top end side wall which is touched to a first adjacent connection unit of the connection side, and has an acute angle with the first adjacent connection unit; a bottom end side wall which is touched to a second adjacent connection unit of the connection side, and has an angle with the second adjacent connection unit; and a ceiling wall which connects the top end side wall and the bottom end side wall.
