Summary: | A method of regenerating a lean NOx trap (LNT) of an exhaust purification system provided with the LNT and a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) catalyst according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: determining whether an LNT regeneration feasibility condition is satisfied; determining whether an LNT regeneration necessary condition is satisfied; and starting regeneration of the LNT if the LNT regeneration feasibility condition and the LNT regeneration necessary condition are satisfied; wherein it is determined that the LNT necessary condition is satisfied if the amount of NOx adsorbed by the LNT is larger than or equal to a NOx adsorption threshold, and the NOx adsorption threshold can be set by a maximum NOx adsorption amount of the LNT at cold starting and a minimum of a target NOx adsorption amount which varies according to NOx purifying efficiency of the SCR catalyst.
본 발명의 실시예에 따른 린 녹스 트랩(Lean NOx Trap; LNT)과 선택적 환원(Selective Catalytic Reduction; SCR) 촉매를 구비한 배기 가스 정화 장치에서 LNT의 재생 방법은 상기 LNT의 재생 가능 조건을 만족하는지 판단하는 단계; LNT의 재생 필요 조건을 만족하는지 판단하는 단계; 그리고 LNT 재생 가능 조건과 LNT 재생 필요 조건을 만족하면, LNT의 재생을 진행하는 단계;를 포함하며, LNT의 NOx 흡장량이 NOx 흡장 임계치 이상이면 LNT 재생 필요 조건을 만족하는 것으로 판단하되, 상기 NOx 흡장 임계치는 냉 시동 시 LNT의 최대 NOx 흡장량과, SCR 촉매의 NOx 정화 효율에 따라 변화되는 LNT의 목표 NOx 흡장량의 최소값으로 설정될 수 있다. |
