Summary:The present invention relates to an Ethernet-based integrated communication system for train operation, capable of improving a maintenance environment including communication network construction and management by integrating individual communication networks constructed for driving, controlling, and managing train operation equipment into one communication network. The system includes: a plurality of base devices including train onboard signaling devices, a train control management system (TCMS), a multimedia server, and a display device; a plurality of terminals installed for each of train cars and operating in communication with the base devices; and a switch integrally relaying the communication between the base devices and the terminals by Ethernet and processing the establishing of a communication path so that the base devices and the terminals communicate with designated objects. 본 발명은 열차 운행용 장비들의 구동, 제어, 관리 등을 목적으로 구축한 개별 통신망들을 하나의 통신망으로 통합해서 통신망 구축과 관리 등의 유지 환경을 개선한 열차 운행을 위한 이더넷 기반의 통합 통신시스템에 관한 것으로, 열차의 차상신호장치와 TCMS(Train Control Management System)와 멀티미디어 서버와 현시장치를 포함한 다수의 기반장치와, 열차의 구성 객차별로 설치되고 상기 기반장치와 통신하며 동작하는 다수의 단말기와, 상기 기반장치와 단말기 간의 통신을 이더넷으로 통합해 중계하되 기반장치와 단말기가 서로 지정된 대상과 통신하도록 통신경로 설정을 프로세싱하는 스위치를 포함하는 것이다.
