The present invention relates to a compass for circular cutting, capable of accurately and conveniently cutting a flat plate-shaped subject made of a metal, acryl, wood, and the like into a circular arc shape. A compass for circular cutting according to a desirable embodiment of the present invention includes: a body having a fixed shaft where a supporting pin is integrally formed in a head unit with a handle in an upper part, and a rotary shaft integrally formed with a horizontal stand; a distance adjusting unit composed of an adjusting bolt and an adjusting nut to adjust a distance between the rotary and fixed shafts by rotating either the rotary shaft or the fixed shaft of the body; and a cutting unit installed on the horizontal stand to cut the subject into the circular arc shape by rotating the rotary shaft in a circular-arch shape while the fixed shaft is fixated. 본 발명은 금속, 아크릴, 목재 등으로 이루어진 평판의 작업 대상물을 정확하고 간편하게 원호 형상으로 절단시킬 수 있는 원호 절단용 컴퍼스에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 바람직한 일 실시예에 따른 원호 절단용 컴퍼스는 상측에 손잡이가 마련된 헤드부에 지지침이 일체로 형성된 고정축과 수평대가 일체로 형성된 회전축이 회동 가능하게 설치되는 본체와, 상기 본체의 회전축과 고정축 중 어느 하나를 회동시켜서 상기 회전축과 고정축의 간격을 조절할 수 있도록 조절볼트과 조절너트로 구성되며, 상기 회전축과 고정축에 상에 연결 설치되는 간격조절부 및 상기 고정축을 고정시킨 상태에서 상기 회전축을 원호로 회전시킴으로써 작업 대상물이 원호로 절단될 수 있게 상기 수평대 상에 설치되는 절단부를 포함하여 이루어진 것을 특징으로 한다.
