The present invention relates to an edge emitting type light emitting diode (LED) lighting device remotely controllable and a method of controlling variable color temperatures and dimming. The edge emitting type LED lighting device can selectively control the color temperatures of LEDs and dimming through wireless communication. The edge emitting type LED lighting device comprises: edge emitting type LED modules where a plurality of white and dayglow color LEDs are arranged repeatedly in a row; and a control circuit unit for individually or integrally controlling the diming and color temperature variations of the LEDs. Also, the present invention remotely controls the diming, color temperature variations, and flickering of the LEDs through wireless communication by using a remote controller or a mobile terminal. According to the disclosed specification, by using a remote controller or a mobile terminal, power supplies and power down, color temperature variations, and diming can be controlled, while controlling multiple LEDs individually or integrally in their power supply, power down, color temperature variations, and diming, thereby providing an optimal lighting environment. 본 발명은 무선 제어 가능한 엣지형 발광 다이오드 조명 장치와, 그의 색 온도 가변 및 디밍을 제어하는 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 엣지형 발광 다이오드 조명 장치는 무선 통신을 이용하여 선택적으로 발광 다이오드들의 색 온도 가변 및 디밍을 제어한다. 본 발명의 엣지형 발광 다이오드 조명 장치는 복수 개의 백색 및 주광색 발광 다이오드들이 일렬 씩 반복적으로 배열되는 엣지형의 발광 다이오드 모듈들과, 발광 다이오드들의 색 온도 가변과 디밍을 개별적 또는 혼합형으로 선택하여 조절하는 제어 회로부를 구비하고, 리모콘 또는 휴대용 단말기를 이용하여 무선 통신을 통해 발광 다이오드들의 점멸, 색 온도 가변 및 디밍 조절을 원격 제어한다. 본 발명에 의하면, 리모콘, 휴대용 단말기를 이용하여 전원 공급 및 차단, 색 온도 가변 그리고 디밍 제어가 가능하고, 복수 개의 발광 다이오드들을 개별 또는 혼합형으로 전원 공급 및 차단, 색 온도 가변 그리고 디밍 제어가 가능하여, 최적의 조명 환경을 제공할 수 있다.
