The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for playing a multi-angle image. The method for playing a multi-angle image according to an embodiment of the present invention is a playback method of a multi-angle image which plays back at least two viewpoint images and comprises the steps of: receiving respective meta information for at least two viewpoint images; receiving respective packetized elementary streams (PES) for the at least two viewpoint images and buffering the respective PES; checking PES times for the respective viewpoint images; decoding, when an output command for a first viewpoint image is received, the first viewpoint image; outputting the first viewpoint image; synchronizing, when an output command for a second viewpoint image is received, the PES time of the first viewpoint image with the PES time of the second viewpoint image; and decoding the second viewpoint image. According to the present invention, a multi-angle image can be played back efficiently. 본 발명은 멀티앵글영상 재생방법 및 장치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 멀티앵글영상 재생방법은 적어도 2개 이상의 시점영상을 재생하는 멀티앵글영상 재생장치의 재생방법에 있어서, 적어도 2개 이상의 시점영상에 대한 각각의 메타정보를 수신하는 단계, 적어도 2개 이상의 시점영상에 대한 각각의 PES를 수신하여 각각의 버퍼링을 수행하는 단계, 시점영상 각각의 PES 타임을 체크하는 단계, 제1시점영상의 출력명령을 수신하면, 제1시점영상을 디코딩하는 단계, 제1시점영상을 출력하는 단계, 제2시점영상의 출력명령을 수신하면, 제1시점영상의 PES 타임과 제2시점영상의 PES 타임을 이용하여 동기화를 수행하는 단계, 제2시점영상을 디코딩하는 단계를 포함한다.
