The present invention relates to an electrolysis apparatus for sterilizing water or cleaning pipe in which an electrolysis rate is high to have an excellence in a water sterilization and a pipe cleaning and a configuration is compact. According to the present invention, the electrolysis apparatus for sterilizing water or cleaning pipe includes: a pipe body (100) in an inversed C or inversed S shape with a first forward direction passage part (110) to which treated water is introduced, and a first reverse direction passage part (120) in which a fore-end part is connected to the first forward direction passage part (110) and a rear-end part part is spaced apart from the first forward direction passage part (110) to transfer the treated water to the opposite direction of the transferred direction of the first forward direction passage part (110); a first electrolysis space (200) formed between the first forward direction passage part (110) and the first reverse direction passage part (120), and having an electrolyte injecting hole (210) in which an electrolyte is injected from the outside and an discharging hollow (220) communicated with the first forward direction passage part (110) or the first reverse direction passage part (120) to discharge a substance generated by the electrolysis; and a positive and negative electrode (300) installed in the electrolysis space (200). 본 발명은 전기분해요율이 우수하여 물살균 및 배관청소효과가 우수하고 구성도 콤팩트한 새로운 구성의 물살균 및 배관청소용 전해장치에 대한 것이다. 본 발명에 따르면, 피처리수가 유입되는 제1순방향유로부(110)와, 선단부가 상기 제1순방향유로부(110)에 연결되고, 기단부는 상기 제1순방향유로부(110)에서 이격되게 위치되어 피처리수가 상기 제1순방향유로부(110)에서 이송되는 방향과 반대방향으로 이송되는 제1역방향유로부(120)를 포함하여 이루어져서, ⊃형 또는 ㄹ형상부위를 갖는 관체(100); 상기 관체(100)의 제1순방향유로부(110)와 제1역방향유로부(120) 사이에 형성되며, 외부에서 전해질이 주입되는 전해질주입구(210)와, 상기 제1순방향유로부(110) 또는 제1역방향유로부(120)와 연통되어 전기분해에 의해 생성된 물질이 배출되는 배출공(220)이 형성된 제1전해공간(200); 및 상기 제1전해공간(200)에 설치된 +, -전극(300);을 포함하여 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 물살균 및 배관청소용 전해장치가 제공된다.
