Summary:Disclosed are a system and method for detecting a failure occurrence high voltage watt-hour meter, by which usage information of a high voltage watt-hour meter is received from a communications module of the high voltage watt-hour meter. The system for detecting a failure occurrence high voltage watt-hour meter comprises: a database unit for storing high voltage watt-hour meter usage information, electricity supply suspension information, high voltage watt-hour meter information, and person-in-charge information; and a server for determining whether there is electricity supply suspension or break in a high voltage watt-hour meter when an electricity usage amount of the high voltage watt-hour meter is equivalent to or lower than a standard value by referring to the database unit, and determining a state of the high voltage watt-hour meter as an error state when there is no electricity supply suspension or break in the high voltage watt-hour meter. According to an embodiment of the present invention, by receiving usage history inspection data of a high voltage watt-hour meter every five minutes, it is determined whether a malfunction occurred or not. When the receiving usage history inspection data of a high voltage watt-hour meter are equivalent to or lower than a standard value, it is determined whether the high voltage watt-hour meter is in a normally operated condition, so malfunction may be determined. 고압 전력량계의 통신모듈로부터 고압전력량계의 사용정보를 수신하는 장애발생 고압전력량계 검출 시스템 및 방법이 개시된다. 장애발생 고압전력량계 검출 시스템은, 고압전력량계 사용정보, 전기공급중단 정보, 고압전력량계정보 및 담당자 정보를 저장하는 데이터베이스부; 상기 데이터베이스부를 참조하여 고압전력량계의 전력 사용량이 기준값 이하인 경우, 상기 고압전력량계의 전기공급중단 및 차단이 없는 상태인지 판단하고, 상기 고압전력량계의 전기공급중단 및 차단이 없는 상태이면, 상기 고압전력량계를 고장이라고 판단하는 서버를 포함한다. 본 발명의 실시 예에서는 고압전력량계의 사용전력 검침 데이터를 5분 단위로 수신하여 고장여부를 판단할 수 있고, 고압전력량계의 사용전력 검침 데이터가 기준값 이하인 경우 고압 전력량계의 정상동작인 조건인지 판단하여 고장여부를 결정할 수 있다.
