The present invention relates to a circuit and a method to suppress an overload on a geared brushless DC (BLDC) motor for a juicer for green vegetable juice. The circuit to suppress an overload on a geared brushless DC motor for a juicer for green vegetable juice comprises: a BLDC motor (110); a hall sensor (120); a motor driver (140); an inverter unit (130); and an overload determination and suppression means which detects a current rotation number of the BLDC motor (110), determines that an overload exists when the detected current rotation number is smaller than a preset rotation number, and, when the overload is determined to exist, suppresses the overload on the BLDC motor (110) by driving the BLDC motor (110) in a reverse direction by outputting a motor reverse rotation control signal to the motor driver (140) for a preset period after a motor drive stopping signal is outputted to the inverter unit (130). The method to suppress an overload on a geared brushless DC motor for a juicer for green vegetable juice provides a method to suppress the overload on the BLDC motor by using the circuit to suppress an overload. According to the present invention, when an overload exceeding a threshold load value is applied on the BLDC motor, the overload state is automatically detected and a load exceeding the threshold load value is automatically suppressed. 본 발명은 녹즙기용 기어드 BLDC 모터 과부하 제거 회로 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 의한 녹즙기용 기어드 BLDC 모터 과부하 제거 회로는, BLDC 모터(110)와, 홀센서(120)와, 모터 드라이버(140)와, 인버터부(130)와, BLDC 모터(110)의 현재 회전수를 검출하고 검출한 현재 회전수값이 설정 회전수보다 작은 경우에는 과부하 판정을 하고 과부하 판정을 한 경우에는 인버터부(130)로 모터 구동정지신호를 출력한 후에 설정된 시간 동안 모터 드라이버(140)로 모터 역회전제어신호를 출력함으로써 BLDC 모터(110)를 역회전 구동 제어하여 BLDC 모터(110)에 걸린 과부하 제거를 제어하는 과부하 판정 및 제거 수단이 포함되어서 구성되고, 녹즙기용 기어드 BLDC 모터 과부하 제거 방법은 위 과부하 제거 회로를 이용하여 BLDC 모터에 걸리는 과부하를 제거하는 방법을 제공하며, 이에 의하면 BLDC 모터에 임계부하값을 초과하는 과부하가 걸리는 경우 이러한 과부하 상태를 자동으로 감지하고 임계부하값의 초과 부하를 자동으로 제거할 수 있는 이점이 있다.
