The present invention relates to a network designing method. More specifically, the method includes: a step of setting an objective function to calculate a structure adjustment overhead according to a change in a traffic load and power consumption of a network; a step of setting a restriction condition to be reflected in the objective function to calculate the structure adjustment overhead and the power consumption of the network; an optimization calculation step of calculating the objective function to minimize the sum of the structure adjustment overhead and the power consumption of the network by reflecting the set restriction condition; and a step of allocating network resources according to a calculation result. 본 발명은 네트워크의 설계 방법에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 네트워크의 전력 소비 및 트래픽 부하 변화에 따른 구조 변경 오버헤드를 연산하기 위한 목적함수를 설정하는 단계, 네트워크의 전력 소비와 구조 변경 오버헤드를 연산하기 위하여 상기 목적함수에 반영될 제약 조건을 설정하는 단계, 설정된 제약 조건을 반영하여 네트워크의 전력 소비와 구조 변경 오버헤드의 합을 최소화하기 위한 목적함수를 연산하는 최적화 연산 단계 및 연산된 결과에 따라 네트워크 자원을 할당하는 단계를 포함하는 네트워크의 설계 방법에 관한 것이다.
