Summary:The The present invention relates to a method of registering a wireless access point of a boiler thermostat by using a smartphone. In particular, the invention comprises the steps of: a smartphone making a connection to a specific AP in advance; upon executing an application embedded in a smartphone, starting a thermostat registration mode of a boiler; a smartphone mutually communicating with the thermostat of a boiler through Wi-Fi, and the thermostat of a boiler entering into an AP registration mode, and the smartphone becoming AP to transmit SSID to be able to be connected to the thermostat of a boiler and then, a smartphone application selecting SSID of the thermostat of a boiler through Wi-Fi function so as to be connected to the thermostat; a user transmitting either AP information currently owned by a user smartphone to the thermostat of a boiler, or different AP information desiring to be connected to the thermostat of a boiler to the thermostat of a boiler; the thermostat of a boiler receiving AP information from a user smartphone and transmitting a product code of the thermostat itself and then completing the AP registration mode (completion of SSID transmission); and a smartphone receiving the produce code of the thermostat a boiler and then, completing the thermostat registration mode and a Wi-Fi direct connection. Accordingly, it is possible to simplify the complex and difficult installation method and thereby enhance a user convenience. In addition, it is unnecessary to have a direct display and an operation of a boiler thermostat in order to enter AP connection information and therefore, it is possible to reduce production costs of a product.
