The present invention is to provide an apparatus for manufacturing a rectangular body which enables to easily and simply perform molding and demolding a large sized rectangular body, and a method for manufacturing a rectangular body using the same. According to the present invention, the apparatus for manufacturing the rectangular body comprises: a base portion; front and rear end stands installed at front and rear ends of the base portion, respectively; and a rectangular body molding portion which includes a molding frame in a rectangular pillar-shape installed in a direction that a longitudinal direction connects between the front and rear end stands, and includes front and rear end shafts protruding at front and rear ends of the molding frame, respectively to be a central shaft of the longitudinal direction, and axially coupled to the front and rear end stands to be rotated, respectively, wherein the molding frame includes a main body having the front end shaft coupled with the rear end shaft, and constituting a first corner portion among four corner portions of the rectangular pillar-shape, includes one side and the other side corner supports constituting second and third corner portions facing with each other in the rectangular pillar-shape, respectively, and coupled to the main body, and includes a main operational body coupled to the main body, constituting a fourth corner portion facing with the first corner portion in the rectangular pillar-shape, constituting a surface of the rectangular pillar-shape in cooperation with one side corner support, and constituting the other surface of the rectangular pillar-shape in cooperation with the other side corner support. 본 발명의 목적은 대형의 사각통체를 성형 및 탈형하는 작업이 용이하게 이루어질 수 있는 사각통체의 제작장치와 그것을 이용한 사각통체의 제작방법을 제공하는 것이다. 이에 따라 본 발명에 따른 사각통체의 제조장치는, 베이스부와, 상기 베이스부의 전단과 후단에 각각 설치되는 전단받침대 및 후단받침대와, 길이방향이 상기 전단받침대와 후단받침대 사이를 연결하는 방향으로 설치된 사각기둥형상의 성형틀과 상기 성형틀의 전단과 후단에 각각 돌출되어 길이방향의 중심축을 이루고 각각 상기 전단받침대 및 후단받침대에 회전가능하게 축결합되는 전단축과 후단축을 구비하는 사각통체성형부를 포함하되, 상기 성형틀은 상기 전단축과 후단축이 결합되어 있는 것으로 상기 사각기둥형상의 네 개의 코너부 중 제1코너부를 이루는 메인바디와, 상기 사각기둥형상에서 서로 대향하는 제2코너부와 제3코너부를 각각 이루는 것으로서 상기 메인바디에 결합되는 일측 및 타측 코너지지대와, 상기 메인바디에 결합되고 상기 사각기둥형상에서 상기 제1코너부와 대향하고 있는 제4코너부를 이루는 것으로, 상기 일측 코너지지대와 협동하여 상기 사각기둥형상의 한 면을 이루고, 상기 타측 코너지지대와 협동하여 상기 사각기둥형상의 다른 한 면을 이루고 있는 주작동바디를 포함한다.
