Summary:The present invention provides: a remote access server which provides a home security service to a user of a terminal device by using one or more surveillance cameras; and a method for providing the home security service executed by the same. The user of the terminal device can monitor a condition of home security in real time by using the terminal and can control functions and operations of the surveillance cameras in the outside of a home network. The remote access server includes: a web service bundle which receives a signal for requesting server connection; a public bundle which communicates with the cameras; and a local bundle which transmits a signal for requesting camera identification. 하나 이상의 감시 카메라들을 사용하여 단말 장치의 사용자에게 홈 시큐리티 서비스를 제공하는 원격 액세스 서버 및 상기 원격 액세스 서버에 의해 수행되는 홈 시큐리티 서비스 제공 방법이 제공된다. 단말 장치의 사용자는 단말 장치를 사용하여 홈 시큐리티 상태를 실시간으로 모니터링할 수 있고 홈 네트워크의 외부에서도 감시 카메라의 기능 또는 동작을 제어할 수 있다.
