The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for automatically dispensing and casting expendable bathythermograph capable of laminating and configuring a number of cartridges to which a number of expendable bathythermographs can be mounted, automatically controlling measurement through a number of expendable bathythermographs, and automatically recording and sending measured data. The apparatus comprises: a GPS to detect a current position; an observatory probe dropping part which accommodates a number of XBTs (eXpendable BathyThermographs) and is configured to drop probes installed in a number of XBTs; a local recording part to record the measured data received from a number of probes; and a control part to control the observatory probe dropping part so as to drop the probes when it is determined that the current position detected from the GPS and the preset position are agreed upon, whereas effects of executing XBT observation automatically by controlling a number of XBTs at an XBT observation on a vessel, an aircraft and a submarine and sending automatically observed data to a server are provided. 본 발명은 소모성 수심수온측정계를 다수 개 장착 가능한 카트리지를 다수 개 적층하여 구성하고 다수의 소모성 수심수온측정계를 통한 계측을 자동으로 제어하며 계측된 정보를 자동으로 기록 및 전송할 수 있는 소모성 수심수온측정계 연속 투하 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로,상기 소모성 수심수온측정계 연속 투하 장치는, 현재의 위치를 검출하는 GPS; 다수의 XBT(eXpendable BathyThermograph)를 수용하며 상기 다수의 XBT가 구비한 프로브가 지정된 위치에서 투하되도록 구성된 관측프로브 투하부; 상기 다수의 프로브로부터 수신된 상기 관측 데이터를 기록하는 로컬기록부; 및 상기 GPS로부터 검출된 상기 현재 위치와 기설정된 위치가 일치하는 것으로 판단되면 상기 관측프로브 투하부로 하여금 상기 프로브를 투하하도록 제어하는 제어부로 구성되어,선박, 항공기 및 잠수함 등에서 XBT 관측 시, 다수의 XBT를 제어하여 XBT 관측을 자동으로 수행하고 관측된 관측 데이터를 자동으로 서버로 전송할 수 있는 효과를 제공한다.
