The present specification relates to a wire access network system and a transmission line parameter determining method thereof. The transmission line parameter determining method of the wire access network system according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a performance evaluation stage where a parameter management system (PMS) collects an access performance of customer premises equipment (CPE) in accordance with the transmission line parameter set at the transmission line the CPE accesses to, and evaluates the access performance of the CPE; and a parameter reset stage where the PMS resets the transmission line parameter, if the access performance of the CPE is below the set standard. 본 출원은 유선 액세스 네트워크 시스템 및 이의 선로 파라미터 설정 방법에 관한 것으로서, 특히 본 발명의 일 실시예에 의한 유선 액세스 네트워크 시스템의 선로 파라미터 설정 방법은, 파라미터 관리장치(PMS: Parameter Management System)가, 가입자단말(customer premises equipment)이 접속하는 선로에 설정된 선로 파라미터에 따른 상기 가입자단말의 접속성능을 수집하여, 상기 가입자 단말의 접속성능을 판별하는 성능판별단계; 및 상기 가입자단말의 접속성능이 기 설정된 기준치 이하이면, 상기 파라미터 관리 장치가 상기 선로파라미터를 재설정하는 파라미터 재설정단계를 포함할 수 있다.
