Summary: | The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal alignment layer used in a display device using graphene which is generated by a chemical method and, more particularly, to a method for manufacturing an alignment layer of a liquid crystal display by replacing a polyimide (PI) alignment layer to perform a rubbing process of the liquid crystal alignment layer which is essentially performed in an existing liquid crystal display device manufacturing process with the graphene without the rubbing process. The performance of a product is improved by preventing a non-uniform alignment layer, a light leakage, and a spot due to the rubbing process in a liquid crystal display device manufacturing process by manufacturing the alignment layer without the rubbing process. The thickness of the existing liquid crystal display device is remarkably reduced by the thin thickness of the graphene. Also, heating is reduced by saving the intensity of a light source by increasing the transmittance of light in comparison with PI which is the existing material of the alignment layer. |
