Summary:The present invention relates to an apparatus for monitoring a processed state of a machine tool, comprising a plurality of measurement units disposed in the vicinity of a workpiece fixed to a main shaft of a machine tool and a chuck and measuring displacement values according to distances to the main shaft and the workpiece, a calculation output unit connected to the measurement units through a communication cable and outputting rotation precision of the main shaft, as a graph or threshold numerical values on the basis of values measured by the measurement values, a first temperature measuring unit disposed in the vicinity of the workpiece fixed to the chuck and measuring a temperature of a designated portion of the workpiece, an imaging unit disposed in the vicinity of the workpiece fixed to the chuck and imaging a state of the workpiece in real time, and an image storage unit storing an image captured by the imaging unit in real time. Physical and mechanical changes of an actually processed workpiece and a tool are measured in real time by performing real time monitoring and temperature measurement on the workpiece, based on which process variables are searched according to states of the workpiece and the tool, and an optimal process condition and environment can be established.
