Summary:The present specification relates to a composition for decreasing nephrotoxicity comprising sulforaphane or sulforaphane derivatives. The sulforaphane derivatives of the present invention may have a structure of R_1-(CH_2)_n-NCS or the same. Sulforaphane or sulforaphane derivatives have a chemical structure of isothiocyanatae. According to the present invention, the composition protects damage of kidney cells caused by a drug showing nephrotoxicity and reduces nephrotoxicity, thereby protecting kidney. Accordingly, the composition shows effects of preventing or treating drug kidney disease.
