Summary:The present invention relates to a method for exchanging electric bus batteries and, more specifically, to an apparatus and a method for correcting the position of an electric bus battery exchanger, wherein the apparatus corrects the position of the battery exchanger in accordance with the position of an electric bus battery when exchanging the battery at a bus station. According to the present invention, the apparatus for correcting the position of an electric bus battery exchanger comprises: a battery exchanger for exchanging the battery of an electric bus; a plurality of cameras for recording images of the battery exchanger and the battery when the battery exchanger moves towards the top of the electric bus in order to exchange the battery; a position detection part for detecting the coordinates of the battery and the battery exchanger from the images recorded by the cameras; a determination part for comparing the detected coordinates and determining whether the position of the battery exchanger coincides with the position of the battery; and a control part for controlling the operation of the battery exchanger based on a result of the determination. Accordingly, the present invention can record the positions of the battery and the battery exchanger using the cameras located at a bus station and can verify the position of the battery exchanger corresponding to the battery, thereby exchanging the battery quickly and accurately; and can correct the position of the battery exchanger, thereby exchanging the battery efficiently.
