Summary:The present invention relates to a system and a method for designing locations of traffic facilities, and more specifically, to a system for designing locations of traffic facilities comprising a server which receives information on a type and an installation location of a traffic facility inputted into a terminal and reflects the information to previously stored map information to generate traffic facility design information, and to a method for the same. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a system for designing locations of traffic facilities comprises: a terminal which stores map information including at least road information and information on installation conditions of a traffic facility, receives a signal to set a type and an installation location of the traffic facility, and generates information on the type and the installation location of the traffic facility; a cloud server which receives the information on the type and the installation location of the traffic facility, generates revised map information modified from a pre-stored map information to reflect the information transmitted from the terminal, and transmits the revised map information to the terminal; and a communication network which transmits/receives information between the terminal and the cloud server.
