Summary:A fire extinguishing apparatus is disclosed. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the fire extinguishing apparatus comprises: a storing member which is formed on a part of the inside of a ship and forms an inner space; a sea chest which is formed on one side of the storing member to introduce seawater into the storing member; a first valve which is arranged on the upper part of the ship to control the sea chest; a second valve which is formed on one side of the storing member to uniformly maintain the pressure of the inner space of the storing member; and a spraying member which has one side formed in the inner space of the storing member and the other side formed on the outside of the ship to spray the seawater introduced into the storing member to the outside of the ship by the pressure of the inner space of the storing member.
