The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for performing secure transmission using a method of selecting a relay from a radio channel in which relays are located. The method for secure transmission comprises the steps of: receiving secure transmission initiation signals from a sending end and a receiving end; controlling each of multiple relays to demodulate the secure transmission initiation signals received from the sending end and the receiving end; selecting the multiple relays into two groups; separating the two groups so that a relay in one among the selected two groups transmits the demodulated secure transmission initiation signal and another relay in the other group transmits an artificial noise signal; and transmitting a signal of the relay transmitting the demodulated secure transmission initiation signal and a signal of the relay transmitting the artificial noise signal to the receiving end and an eavesdropping end.
