Summary: | The present invention relates to a reduced graphene oxide coated fiber yarn and a method for manufacturing the same which suppresses adsorption of contaminants when a fiber yarn filter is applied to a wastewater treatment process by maximizing hydrophobicity of the fiber yarn by coating a hydrophobic fiber yarn with reduced graphene oxide (RGO), thereby allowing the fiber yarn filter to be used for a long time. The manufacturing method of the reduced graphene oxide coated fiber yarn according to the present invention comprises the steps of: swelling the hydrophobic fiber yarns; coating the swollen fiber yarns with graphene oxide (GO) by immerging the swollen fiber yarns in a polar aprotic solvent in which the GO is dispersed; and reducing the GO.
