Summary: | The present invention relates to a brake apparatus for a bicycle, which is to prevent rollover of a bicycle by interlocking the operation of a front wheel braking unit with the operation of a back wheel braking unit, as well as a bicycle including the same. The brake apparatus comprises: a first brake lever and a second brake lever; a first brake arm and a second brake arm which respectively include a friction member that generates friction force by being in contact with one side and the other side of a front wheel; a first brake cable; a third brake arm and a fourth brake arm which respectively include a friction member that generates friction force by being in contact with one side and the other side of a back wheel; a first brake cable which is connected among the first brake lever, the third brake arm, and the fourth brake arm, and is towed by manipulating the first brake lever in order to allow the friction member included in the second brake arm to be in contact with the front wheel; a second brake cable which is connected between the first brake lever and the second brake arm, and is towed by manipulating the first brake lever in order to allow the friction member included in the second brake arm to be in contact with the front wheel; and a third brake cable which is connected between the second brake lever and the first brake arm, and is towed by manipulating the second brake lever in order to allow the friction member included in the first brake arm to be in contact with the front wheel. |
