Summary:The present invention relates to apparatus for treating ballast water for ships, and more particularly, to apparatus for treating ballast water with ultraviolet rays, having an improved hub joint structure, wherein an inner core part to be screw-coupled to the outer circumference surface of the driving shaft is snap fit to a hub body, to prevent separation by screw loosening, without using a screw in the hub structure serving as a connector part between an arm and a driving shaft to connect and move a plurality of wiper bodies together in a washing part for removing foreign matters attached to an ultraviolet lamp of the apparatus. A chamfered part having a reduced diameter is formed at one end of the inner core part to be connected to one side of the hub body. A cover part has an insertion hole having one end of the inner core part inserted therein, the insertion hole being formed into a shape corresponding to the one end of the inner core part having the chamfered part to prevent the inner core part from being separated or rotated in the hub body by the chamfered part inserted into the insertion hole. An inner core support part protruding toward the center of an inner core accommodation groove is formed at the other end of the hub body opposite the one side of the hub body having the cover part connected thereto to prevent the inner core part, which is inserted into the inner core accommodation groove, from being separated in the inner core accommodation groove because the other end of the inner core part is hung on the inner core support part.
