The present invention relates to a transmission for vehicles and, more specifically, to a transmission for vehicles which can selects a transmission stage according to various transmission patterns without a structural change. A transmission for vehicles according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a plurality of driving units which is connected to the transmission lever and which supplies operating power by applying power to a transmission lever in at least one direction; a moving route control unit which controls a moving route of the transmission lever by controlling the movement of the driving units in order to make the transmission lever move via a moving route according to the selected transmission pattern among the transmission patterns; and a position sensing unit which senses the position of the transmission lever which moves via the moving route.
