The present invention relates to a gas treatment apparatus for a storage tank, which is to treat gas in a storage tank (50) which is equipped with a space unit (51) filled with Boil off gas (BOG) which is generated by the evaporation of nitrogen gas and liquefied natural gas. The gas treatment apparatus for a storage tank comprises a liquid nitrogen storing unit (100) which stores liquid nitrogen; and a main body (200) where nitrogen gas and BOG transferred from the space unit (51) exchange heat with liquid nitrogen transferred from the liquid nitrogen storing unit (100), in turn, the nitrogen gas is leaked to the outside, and the BOG is liquefied into liquid natural gas and be stored. The liquid nitrogen storing unit comprises an outflow tract (110) which is formed in one side; and an outflow tract control valve (115) which is installed in the outflow tract (110) in order to control the opening and closing of the outflow tract (110) and to control the internal pressure of the liquid nitrogen storing unit.
